Family Photos that are fun and colorful!
As kids get older photoshoots can feel hard in some ways. Sure your kids are growing out of the crazy take off running toddler years but sitting still in a big open field isn't cutting it anymore either. Especially kids who are used to getting their photos done, like mine! Every year I feel like the best way to keep my kids interested in photos is to plan the session around a fun activity. The best part about Summertime in San Diego is the option are endless. This year we decided to snap some at The San Diego County Fair and let me tell you, it was a blast! We didn't focus on sitting still or smiling at the camera, we focused on capturing memories and storytelling. The first time on a big kid ride, Photo Booth fun, yummy treats, all the part of the day we want to hold onto most. And the colors, ahhhh the colors were a dream! Fun and playful, just how life can feel with little kids. And best of all, my kids barely noticed we took photos. They were genuinely enjoying themselves which meant authentic smiles, which are my favorite. So if your'e up for a change to the family photo routine let's rethink things together. Whether it is day at the fair, popsicles in the backyard or flying a kite at the beach we can make the day one to remember for everyone with gorgeous photos to match!
